Think of a doula as being a Birth Sherpa. Someone who has been up the “mountain” several times and has experienced many variations of that same climb while walking with women and their families as they bring their babies into the world. The goal is to act as a quiet presence, offering guidance as needed on pacing your climb, giving suggestions and helping to re-frame and process perspectives as things intensify, while encouraging you to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Doulas play a vital role in supporting not just the birthing person, but also their partner. We work alongside the partner, complementing their role by offering guidance and practical support to help them better support their loved one. During labor, we provide gentle reminders on comfort measures, assist with positioning, and offer emotional support, helping partners feel more confident and involved. We also ensure they have opportunities to take small breaks—whether it's to eat, sleep, or rest
Dont let financial constraints hinder your access to the birth support you desire and require. Chat with us regarding various installment options or payment plans.

From the time you hire until six weeks postpartum, I will be available via text or phone chats to answer any questions you may have about pregnancy-related topics, provide resources for childbirth planning, and help dispel fear or misinformation along the way.
Before your baby arrives, we will meet twice. In these meetings, we will address any questions or concerns you have about labor and birth, create and refine your birth plan, and cover tips for comfort during the final weeks of pregnancy. We’ll also discuss coping techniques for labor to ensure you feel prepared and empowered for the big day.
I will provide non-medical assistance in coping with the intensity of labour. This may include emotional or physical support, helping you to cope through breath, massage, counter-pressure, rebozo, connecting to your partner or many other possibilities. My hope is that my presence will help take the stress down a notch for your partner through normalizing the intensity of labour with focus on what your partner can do to help you cope. I am able to offer relief for your partner by encouraging naps, snacks, breaks for fresh air or meals, or just by being present for support (especially during a long labours). In the event that technology is needed during the labour, I can help guide your partner through interventions, keeping the situation calm – which helps keep you calm too.
I will follow up with you after the birth of your baby to check that you and your family are settling in, getting enough support as you adjust to life with a new baby. I also offer breastfeeding help. If you need any specialized assistance outside of my experience or scope of practice, I can help you find a care provider or practitioner who fits your needs.
We also offer additional postpartum doula support. Check out our service packages and we can tailor our time with you to your specific needs during that fourth trimester.
